Who We Are

CEO and owner Paige C. Rasmussen created CDE in 2010 to provide clients that have unique needs with outstanding professional services. Focusing on high quality deliverables and personalized customer service, Ms. Rasmussen built a reputation for integrity and selecting other experienced, well-adjusted and well-rounded professionals dedicated to the core values of CDE. In the years since, CDE has grown its services to include direct hire and temp-to-perm staff augmentation to give client on-site support of team- and deliverable-focused experts.

Today, CDE has three focus areas that cover our projects and services offered: Management Consulting, Integrated Communications, and Research and Analysis. Our clients include large, well-known companies and fellow small businesses; government agencies and non-profit organizations. CDE has provided support for programs in the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, the Intelligence Community, the National Parks Service, and international commercial entities ranging from large integrators to boutique firms.

At CDE, we tailor our approach to provide a solution based on what will solve the individual customer’s problems, write it down, explain it, and can pivot. Please contact us below for information regarding our services or partnership opportunities with CDE.

Corporate Responsibility

We understand the challenges that face leaders, entrepreneurs, career professionals, and students in an ever-changing marketplace. As such, our prime areas of community outreach services are: resume writing, help with contracts and business coaching specifically for veterans and women; and mentoring and providing learning experiences for youth in science and technology. Below are examples of some of these experiences.

Business, Non-Profit, and Youth Development

Ms. Rasmussen regularly volunteers her time and expertise. She served as the Industry Chair on the Tysons Regional Chamber of Commerce Government Contracting Committee from 2013-2015, served on the Girls in Technology Committee of Women in Technology from 2015 to 2016, is on the board of Our Heroes Inc., an equine therapy provider located on a large animal rescue farm, and is a proud supporter of the Youth Technology Network, which selected CDE to manage the requirements and execution of re-developing an RV into a mobile Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) lab serving disadvantaged youth. A former Division I scholarship lacrosse athlete (at Syracuse University), she coaches girls lacrosse on some of the same highly competitive teams that she played on herself while growing up in Northern Virginia.

Demystifying Work Transition for Veterans

Growing up in a family with generations of U.S. military service dating back to the Revolutionary War and as the as the daughter of two U.S. Marines, Ms. Rasmussen established that part of our company's corporate outreach would be to give back to retired/soon to retire service members. She has personally spoken at Transition Assistance Programs (TAPs) and CDE personnel provide free resume writing for veterans. Through one-on-one conversations, CDE demystifies the process of applying to, negotiating, and performance expectations in industry jobs and consultant positions.
